  2. kyle is it defined as a hull because the fin is placed so much further up from the tail or is it just the bottom contour?

  3. A Displacement Hull has a convex bottom contour that allows the board to displace water as it traverses through a wave (think boat hulls) as opposed to standard short boards, which are planing hulls, that plane on top of the water.
